Ask anyone with an SVX. The YOKOHAMA AVS db is by far the unanimous tire of choice!

They are ultra high performance, directional, Z-rated tires and go for about $104 each.

I am running dunlops 7000s on the moneypit and they are quiet. I also ran parelli 6000SV on my moneypit as well.

I've got about 2000 miles on my AVS Db's and love them. nice and quiet, but they also do well in the rain/slush. Haven't had them in actual snow yet.
