Window stuck up

1 Attachment(s)
Hi all,

Yet another annoying issue to deal with. I rolled up the driver glass the other day and when it reached the top I heard a crazy snapping sound in the door.

Opened it up and found a plastic clip that rides the cable up and down with the ends snapped off. I believe it is this part# 62101PA081 (subaruparts.com)

It attaches to a metal ferrule on the cable and slip-locks into the metal hole fixed to base of glass.

I'm hoping that replacing does the trick and that there isn't something else wrong that caused it to break the first time.

Does anyone know if this is the right part# ???

Thanks,
Mac

Great,

Will order up today. Now on to replacing the master window switch, hoping someone here has one for sale.

Thanks,

Yep, that's the PN alright, I've replace about 4 of 'em, all driver window where most of the use is

I'm guessing that the passenger clips will soon fail on me next

The new piece is redesigned, bigger shoulders, not likely to fail. If the car is a keeper, maybe consider doing both sides. You may need to look at the passenger side for reference anyway.

Good luck :D

Part installed, window fixed. I ordered two in case it happens again. Nice easy fix for once.

Thanks for the help.
