Green Card info
 

My dad has one, dated 1972. I dunno how he got it (he never tells me :mad: but I have some suspicions :rolleyes: :D) at that time, he lived in Massachusetts from 1972 till 1976... is it still useful in any way? what can be done with it? :confused:

Not much. They do have limited lifespan as in there are requirements to keep it active. One of them is that you have to stay in the US for some time each year (as in more than 30 days).

Yeah sureee, this is the reputation I still need... Don't you watch your movies? when there is a destruction scene, they say "it looks like Beirut..." :D :D and "terrorists originated from Beirut"... for God's sake we are even being mentioned in Pierce Brosnan's current 007 movies, the one with the guy who lost all his senses...

BTW, how do people exactly get a Green Card over there? :confused:

Quite often the office supply stores have packs of them, although you may need to get some orange, red, blue, and pink cards with the green ones. You can toss those as they have no real value on the black market. This method allows you to fill in the information on the green ones as you need.:rolleyes:
