My new Z
350Z mod 2005, Bremboz, 6 speed, 18" rims, showroom condition, SILVER (I am still SilverSpear :D ), Bose sound system (mp3 adaptable).

Now it has 27000, so practically I am driving a new car now. |
What happened to the SVX?
|
Yes, why the change?
|
It seems this is just a new car added to your collection, so what is the SVX now a weekend driver or did anything occur last summer that you didn't tell us? But regardless nice car, I have always liked the Z design and new a former co-worker of sorts who owned one who loved to take it drag racing. That 3.5l VQ has enough muscle to compete against almost any base American NA V8, or even higher end ones with more tuning.
I just hope you don't mind the sort of crampt compared to the SVX interior.:D |
Congrats, I like it.

No guys, the SVX is in Hybernation right now back in my country... when I am back, I will awake it again, but not a normal awakening, more like a Frankenstein one...
The Z will be my daily driver in Qatar, and the SVX my project car back home  As far as which is better, I can confidently say that the Z will never be like the SVX. The SVX's quality fabrication is a lot superior than the Z... it is spacey, high quality (almost like German) materials.. whereas the Z is more "plasticized".. What is superior in the Z is its handling and weight distribution. The SVX's huge drawback is the position of its heavyweight engine in the front, the Z is better in this. What I also liked in the Z is the concentration on using lightweight material everywhere and focusing on shaving as much as they can... I am still an SVX obsessed guy, do not worry guys... ;) |
Hmm, now I have two SILVER sports coupes, shouldn't I be called now SilverSpears instead of SilverSpear ? :D :D :D
|
Are you already making plans for the custom bodykit or are you going to leave this one stock?
By the way, my father has almost the same car; it is very fast and handles great -as I am sure you know by now. |
Beautiful car Danny! I LOVE Z's!!! I used to own a '90 Z32, and I hope to own a 2nd generation Z33 someday...
|
Nice car, Danny. I always loved the new "Z". I also love the G35 Coupe maybe a little more for some reason.
|
Thank you guys for the compliments...
@Sean, no I will not do any custom fabrication on this one. First because I don't have a minute to spare on it over here, and second because it is extremely hot and I don't have a space to do custom works. Third because it already has a lot of aftermarket parts, I might get the lower bumper lip and eyelids... Back home, my very best friends have all 350Z's. there are around 3 of them and one G35, they told me the best light mods are the spacers, aftermarket clutch (nismo), aftermarket exhausts and short shifter... I think this is the extent that this car will see right now... The SVX is a priority right now... Hope to wrap it up by end 2007 |
Congrats, Looks nice Danny, I bet you will enjoy it ....
