Starting problem Civic..
 

Hi guys,

this is not realted to our SVX, but my friend's car is having a starting problem. We have checked the following

1) Gas - full tank
2) Battery - fully charged

tried for jump start but no success.

model 92 Civic.

wht might be the problem... the engine is running i mean its trying to start (like wht happens when the battery is low) but it is not running. recently had oil change.

Fuel pump not pumping fuel?

Here is another problem... after starting it and them let it warm up the engine... then when u place it into 'D' the car is jerking heavily and while accelerating slowly also at the time of starting the drive. But runs good if u give more acceleration.

wht might be the problem?....

no no I think we all know the problem is that he bought it with an automatic:rolleyes:

vaccum problem? Fuel filter?

Check your battery connections. I bet you have a bad ground.

htanks for ur replies... he took his car to his dealer for cheking electrical connections....

Ok then can any of u guys help me in instlalin side markers. Noone has replied for my thread in MOD Mania...

sorry i think many of u wont like them.. (side marker MOD)..

I know Jlittell installed a set on his car, try PMing him.

My guess would be something with the fuel injectors/ or spark plugs.. but i'd like to know what it ends up being...
