STI suspension swap tutorial
Greetings!
So about a month or two ago, I spent a weekend fitting a set of BC racing RAM series coilovers from an 05-07 STI onto my car. It all went well and I get really good suspension for a very small amount of money (got them used) It's not the hardest of tasks and I know that many people want cheap coilover options, so I can make a how-to if you guys want. I know of another gentleman who has done the same, and it seems to be working in both our cases, although I have not gotten an alignment yet and the way I did it, my caster was altered quite a lot. Let me know what you guys think. |

Yes absolutely a write up like that would be very valuable for those doing it and those thinking about doing it.

Re: STI suspension swap tutorial
Pictures would also be appreciated

Re: STI suspension swap tutorial
I didn't take that many pictures while doing it but I'll try to make it as good as I can.
My only concern is the alignment, and the fact that I don't know how it's gonna be. So I don't wanna encourage people to do it if it's gonna take too much to fix the caster. Also the front sway bar can't be mounted. |

Re: STI suspension swap tutorial
I've also done the swap. I can add pictures if wanted as I'm replacing my entire suspension with new, better coils tomorrow :)

Oh...I must get two of those sway bar things, although I know the stock sway bar would not do anything...12k springs up front.
David send me the pics on instagram...I'll do the writeup. |
