Controling the injectors
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if there is any thing special about the power to the injectors. I want to make a test bench is it just a matter of supplying 12V to the head of the injector or do I need to do something more. Tony |

Its a pulse timed in ms

Re: Controling the injectors
when i test injectors on the bench i jump power to the power side from a battery and then hook the negative side of the battery to a file. use a jumper between the file and injector signal. use a needle or something sharp and run the jumper across the ridges on the file. this will create pulses to make them spray. the faster you run it the shorter each pulse is. definitely redneck mechanics but it works.

Re: Controling the injectors
The injectors are 12 ohm, no dropping resistors, so they can be supplied with 12V. Just pulse the ground side.

Re: Controling the injectors
you can pulse either side but it's best to mimic the setup in the car as closely as possible if you are doing more than making sure that they just click.
