Do SVX's have a distributor or not. I'm wanting to put a MSD ignition in.

No, the car doesn't have a distributor. Are you having ignition problems, such as misfiring at 9000 rpm? ;)

No, the SVX runs on a distributorless system - each plug has its own coil and fires independently

Before I ran into problems like, money, jobless, etc... I was working on all the nesessary work for a NO2 Fogger system. One thing that the developers at Holley/NOS wantd me to address was the ignition system. They told me that it was overbuilt from a stock standpoint, but may pose problems igniting the system under a 200+ HP fogger. They told me to look into aftermarket options to insure that there is NO misfire under this alternative fuel. I spent many hours on the phone with both MSD and Jacobs. I am happy to report that MSD is developing a CPC (coil per cylinder) application and Jacobs may do a custom application for us. As I get more information I will post it here. MSD said first quarter 2002, and I have a direct phone line to a "Doc" at Jacobs. Dont expect anything till after January.
