Bumpers
Anyone here know if its hard to replace the front and rear bumpers?
If you do, it will be a great help if you can tell me the instructions. |
Be careful
The wiring for the air bag is in that area! The rest is self-explanatory unbolt the bumper cover and remove it Can't imagine why you would want to take the bumper off but it's your thing:confused: Good luck |
Is there a reason you need the bumpers off? Just thought I would check to see if they really needed to come off or if other instructions were needed instead. :)

Are you replacing just the cover, or the whole impact beam, etc...?
I have some instructions that will show how the front cover is removed if that's what you need... http://x35performance.com/installbumper.pdf |
Steve - If it ok, I will get that in the How-To Docs. :D

No problem..maybe I should update it and put the finished product in there as well, I kind of rushed the last few steps.
It's a big file though..2.1 meg. I may be able to shrink that down some. |
Do your updates and I can do some shrinking with some of the software I haave. I will give it a try anyway. Thanks :)

Crash
Yup,
i live in Boise, Idaho. I had my wedding in October and i went with my wife on my honeymoon. My brother in law drove back my car back to boise. Some how he fell a sleep on the wheel and went off the road. So my front bumper is cracked. My back bumper is bent. Driver side exaust pipe is bent as well. And my wheels ( I had 17"), and the bottom of my car were scratched by desert grass. No I have put new 18" wheels. And trying to get the bumpers fixed i got off ebay. I done have much tools. So i'm tring to prepair in advance with the tools i need. Quote:
