Weak SS brake lines
 

Two winters and two SS brake lines broke so far. It's the plastic boots that crack and finally leak. It could be the cold weather up here. I'm going back to rubber with the metal boots. Anyone else had this problem?

They make the lines with metal fasteners. Look into those. :)

Which ones did you buy? I mean who is your supplier of these SS lines?

It's not the fasteners that break. It's the boots (the connection between the hose and the nut). I bought them from iROTORS.

Mine are smallcar's. They are great so far :rolleyes:

And the boots that are plastic? Have you told them about the problem? If not, I would. :o
