SVX owner comment in Sport Compact Car
 

I just got the latest Issue of Sport Compact Car today and on page 30 there is a letter from an SVX owner who identifies themself as SVXLuver. They titled the letter "Subarueful." Just wanted to share my excitement. WooHoo!

Sorry, I shouldn't assume that people have access to Sport Compact Car. I guess I just take it for granted :-p

I will make it plain and simple with three letters: SVX. You have given this car no coverage at all. I'd kill myself if I had to morgtage the house to make my car fast. My SVX ran 14.89 with very little aftermarket help, and 13s on demand with a 100-shot. Show me a rice rocket with a 2.18 60-foot using street tires and front wheel drive.

My guess is that lots of people send in things but since they only print maybe 10 letters a month it's really cool to see one printed. I think they had an SVX in the reader's rides section a while ago. I think the guy who owned it had custom headers made if I renember correctly.

...with a fwd SVX that I know ran 14.89 all-motor and 13's (13.32) with a 100 shot of NOS. His name is Walter James and he's known around here as Poweredx2. His friends call him Walter or Jay. ;) He owns a '94 SVX LS.

Yea that and he has custom seats....and i love white rims on a red SVX. Ive always loved that. Ive been considering that for a long time and i would do it if i didnt allready have rims.

I've seen others do this before... what is the advantage of this mod? :)

Not sure, as the swept area on the windshield will be reduced. However, I guess it gives the car a more exotic look...
