Wiper Arm color
 

Were these guys originally flat black, or black chrome?

I test shot a section and the black chrome doesn't seem to look right to me.

I think they were flat black. That is what I have used in the past. :)

When I bought new wiper arms form the dealer, the color was a satin black (just the slightest bit of sheen)

When I repainted my wiper arms I used a high gloss black. Looks great!

i used satin black trim paint. makes a big difference appearance-wise over crappy corroded-looking wiper arms! :)

The reason for no gloss on the wiper arms is to reduce glare/reflections off of them when you're driving.

I tried using a high temperature paint to try to make them last longer.

I thought that black chrome color looked out of place. :confused:
