Little help, Parent's Forrester won't start.

it's a '98 forrester, factory alarm(which im not sure is related)

It would help if you told us what a "just just" is.

Maybe disconnect the battery for a while to reset it if it is an alarm issue?
Have you checked the fuses and fusible links?

Yeeeaaaaahhh, I'm with Beav on this one - we need better clarification before we can help you out. :)

But if everything seems okay, and the engine just won't turn over, you probably just need a new battery.

i'll try disconnecting the battery, i had checked the fuses and they were fine, see the problem is the key will go into the slotbut it wont rotate anywhere from locked, not even into accesory

You might wanna check and see if the steering wheel is locked. Jiggle the wheel and turn the key and see if it unlocks.

Agreed. If the key won't turn, it's likely that the steering wheel is locked. Simply turn the wheel slightly/jiggle it while attempting to turn the key.

Also, if it is an auto, be sure that it is in park. :D

By the way - since you can't turn the key at all, does the car still make a beeping noise when you insert the key into the ignition, but leave the door open?

I would highly suggest double-checking the fuses, especially the fusible link (if it's got one, which I'm sure it does). Be sure to check the fuses both in the car and in the engine bay. New subies still have them in both places, right?

If all else fails, I would agree with previous posts on disconnecting the battery for about 24 hours to reset all computer control modules. In the mean time, get yourself a cheap multimeter or 12v battery checker-thingy.

i disconnected the battery for about an hour, it didnt help, as stated in my first post i tried the steering wheel and it didnt do anything, also the car is in pak, and yes there is still power going to it, i tihnk there mgiht actually be too much power, im sure youve all gotten a static shock from getting in and out of a car before but righ tnow its giving huge shocks, like handling the key in the ignition is charging me or something, ok so here is a list fo the things i have tried:
steering wheel lock
making sure its in park
realising/hold e-brake
lock/unlock from remote
lock/unlock from inside
even tried pushing the car a little bit to see ifmovign the wheels a bit would do anything
disconnected battery
tried turning key with battery disconnected
reconnected battery
tried switching between normal/valet mode for alarm
checked all fuses
