I'm disappointed by the red accented interior which doesn't match my 1992 Pearlie with the all gray interior. If it weren't for that garish red, I'd have ordered one.

I'm guessing that's one significant difference between the 1992 USA pearl white version and Japan's 1992 pearl white Alcyone?

Im guessing by red, you mean the wood grain panels? Although the 92s didnt have as bright of a shade for wood grain as the later models, none of the 92s were originally equipped with the all grey dash paneling

The reddish wood trim was on the one-off pre-production model, used for evaluation purposes only. Fit and finish, etc. Every detail that needs to be adjusted will be addressed and corrected and approved before final production begins.

I sent them the original audio door coloring for matching all the wood trim exactly, as well as leather and ecsaine samples for the interior.

It will be right as I have a close eye on everything as it happens. Don’t worry. DNA are experts at what they do and authenticity, accuracy and attention to detail is what sets them apart from all the rest

The 1992 LS models got the matte gray dash/ console trim.

The LS-L with touring package got the leather and wood trim.
