ok help is really needed again

ok i figured out the starting problem... now i started it up and the check engine light comes on. And at like 60 mph and a little above the rpms will drop and the car loses almost all power u have the push the pedal hard for it to get goin again. I did mess with the vacum lines so you think it could be a misplaced vacuum line? If not, then let me know on what u guys think. i just installed a new starter... and thats the only thing i have done...

At that MPH your tourque converter is locking up by mashing the pedal your unlocking it and since It locks it saves you gas.

i dont kow the ce yet i havnt had it checked out. did take the intake of, and im thinkin i ddnt put the hoss on right... but the car didnt start before because of the starter.... the starter was froze, and i pt a new starter on, and it at first forgot to ground it out so i was trying to start it,, and then i figured out the wire was off hahah cuz im a dumb ass haha and i put the ground on and it fired right up. but then when i drove away lke 5-10 minutes after driving the CE light came on. and when i shut the car off it will stay off for like another 5-10 minutes. and then come back on.

When you take the airbox, that clamps to the throttle body, off, reinstalling it properly can be difficult. The two hoses that go onto the throttle body are soft and can bend into the air flow path, in front of the throttle body openings.
When you install the air box twist so that the top is away from the T.B.O., and this way you can see that the bottom of the hoses are where they should be, on the outside of the throttle body opening.

P.S. (1+2)There two hoses on the drivers side that are easy to see,
on the passenger side one comes in from the pass side valve cover and goes into the airbox low on the pass side,
there is a big one(3) on the back, pass side coming in from the drivers side, another one going strait up(4) into the pass side,
and finally one from the pass side airbox(5), down through a 90degree bend into the Y tube in the front bottom of the airbox.
And make sure the big 3" tube to the air/filter box is tight.
