Anybody know how big of a speaker my amp can handle? Its a kenwood kac-648s. 2-ohm stable

From the specs you quote, you're going to have to look at a relatively low power woofer. Why? Most popular woofers on the market today expect much bigger power numbers than your amp will provide. IMO it would be to your benefit to get a single channel, Class D subwoofer amp, but barring that option, I would suggest you look for a 4-Ohm, dual voice coil woofer.
What you don't say is your price target. At the lower end I would recommend Infinity 1242W or Pioneer TS-W304DVC. At the upper end I would recommend Dynaudio MW190. |
No more than $150. I'm not looking for house-shaking bass, just something that'll bump a little. I miss my orions, those things pounded lol I'll check out the ones u listed. Thanks lee
