5mt swap question

I have a 5 speed out of a 2005 Impreza (TE-TY754VC6AA) Would I need the rear differential as well or would the stock svx diff be ok? Also if I had to use the Impreza rear, could I swap the ring and pinion to make it work?

The info on your trans mission you will need the matching rear diff and there is a file on how to swap the rear end gears. If it had been a 05 wrx trans you would not have to change the rear diff.
