H/PC questions
 

i need something to type papers on and take notes in class, it has to have atleast 8 hours of bettery life and fit comfurtably in my breif case with all my other books. so i was looking into H/pcs like the hp jornada 710/720/728 and the nec mobilepro 900. my question is has anyone here used one, is a 3/4th keyboard really big enough to type on, and can i flash linux on to the rom because windows CE sucks?

the jornada go's anywhare from 90-350 and the NEC is in upwards of 500. i cant seem to find size info for the nec but reviews say its noticably bigger than a jornada. any help would be great. i cant read my own hand writing so i have to memorize class lectures, i can do it for philosophy classes fine but next semister i have to take gen ed (science, history, ect) but atleast ill have a BA.
