was wondering if a 245 45 17 would fit on the svx im running 225 45 17 but got a flat and a freind has 4 of these he will give me for one of my tires and was wondering if they will fit

It depends on several factors. What's the width of the rim you are using? What's the offset of the rim you are using?

offset 40 width 7.5 i think

I'd say there's a very good chance it will rub, and also 245 is too wide for a 7.5" wide rim. The tread shape will not be good.
