ABS problem?

I was driving home from work and I noticed that the ABS light was on. I hit the brakes and the car did a skid so the abs wasnt working. After I got home I heard a noise coming from under the hood and it was the ABS box. I flicked the box and the noise went away. Does anyone know what is going on here and how to fix it? Thanks

Jim,

One of your ABS relays is sticking open (on). That's the sound you hear. This is bad. By flicking it you've managed to temporarily "unstick" the relay, but if it were to "stick" again (say, in the middle of the night) it could kill your battery. The next time you hear the noise, open the ABS box and find out which relay is clicking. Pull it out and find a replacement.
