best show ever at the recher last night
 

victor wooten played his soul circus last night at the recher. i know a concert on a tuesday night? are they trying to keep this stuff a secret? but it was wourth the 3 hour drive. if you dont know vic is not only the best bass player on the planet but one of the best musicians i have ever met, and the most gifted mind i have ever encountered to. if you like the album you owe it to yourself to check it out live because its 8billion times better.

I wouldn't go so far to say the best bass player ever... though he's up there. I'm suprised it was a Tuesday. Figured someone like that (totally unknown to 99.9% of the world could play even on a Monday night) and would still draw the specific crowd that would go anyways. I'm still trying to justfiy spending the $65 for a ticket to see Electric Hot Tuna in November. They rarely plug in anymore but still..

yeah it was only 20$ at the door. now, when you factor in the 450$ ticket i got on the way, its a diferent story.
