301,000kms and now taken off the road
 

The day has come. With the new project in motion I needed the goodies from my current SVX. It's a little sad but it served me well enough.

As I'm pulling parts I'm realizing that I probably should have taken the car off the road much sooner. 2 axles were almost done, the power steering rack boots are split, I could poke holes through the rust (rear quarter panel & floor) with my finger. At least one wheel bearing shot (wheel wobbles). Did I mention the rust?

The engine/transmission are now out separately and will be going into different cars. I'm excited for my new project and can't wait to get behind the wheel again. (hopefully by the end of next weekend)

How many miles on the motor? Better be going into another SVX...

Little better than 1/2 185 maybe . Just in my head divide by 1.6

Very close. 187,032.7 miles. I've got a handy dandy conversion program on my computer.
My '92 Ebony has 329,000km or 204,431.1 miles. It has rust and other issues as well but is still my daily driver.
