*** Doing Rear Subframe Any Pointers ***

Bought most every bolt, washer, bushing, nuts and caps OEM

SSP should provide Rear subframe with trailing arms

Going to ask for support plates
New calipers
Hopefully sway bar and brackets

* Now as far as I know the frame is bolted to the body
The axel shafts shouldnt have to leave the diff
Nor the gas tank
-prob use ramps, jack stands, etc.

Do I have to remove the exaughst ?
Will I need any special tools ?
Do the bearings have to be pressed into hubs ?

*Can I use clamps to rewind calipers and
does proportioning valve need to be reset
Pnuematically if reservoir goes empty ?

Any knowledge would be welcomed thanks

Same here. did this go anywhere?

Beware, the mounting bushings are most likely not available as parts..

Have a whole rear suspension out of a doner car on the way

I bought all the bushings/ bolts left in the system around here through a dealer

I bought a rear sub-frame from SSP a couple of years ago. It was in mint condition. It looked like it was removed from a new car.

SSP refused to sell me a subframe...

The mounting bushings were never separate parts. If they are worn, you need new ones and they are not available anywhere.

Please check the condition of yours, the solution is not that expensive if we share the expense (Poly bushings).
