Hey, I want those D:
Who's car is this?
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...withstorms.png I have a question concerning the wheels. --- Size fixed. --- Oh look a link to where it was found. http://centerlinewheels.com/photo_de...act.php?id=488 |

those look similar to Rota Actions, which are an Advan replica. $162 each.

There's a slight optical illusion in the picture with the extreme reflectiveness of the rim, but I've held one in person and they are perfectly flat, which is the way I like my rimzzzz. (:
I spent a good deal of time yesterday trying to find a forged 17x7.5 wheel under 20lbs and Rotas are the only real option, but I decided with all the potholes around here I will only get a forged wheel, so this Centerline is what I am dead set on. |
I can testify to the strength of non-forged Rota wheels. I hit one of our great Princeton potholes, and blew out a left front Koni shock. Bleeding oil through the top, no damping, etc. The 17x8 Rota Boost wheel wasn't damaged, or even bent. Shock was replaced on warranty. Have had the car up to 105 since with no vibration or anything. Still smooth as silk. Not really, GC and Koni's make for a very unsilk ride on NJ roads.

for the price of most forged wheels, you can buy two or three sets of Rotas to use as backups. |
But the Storms are lightAr D:
Buuuuuut I was looking for 7.5s for a reason. I'd rather have the width over a few pounds of unsprung and until I get some AWD I'll need some kind of traction. :/ |
