New 30th anniversary dates
 

I apologize for not posting an official update on here sooner, (unfortunately I often forget about the world network). That being said, the best source of timely up to date information is on the SVX NATION facebook group, or in the FB event page for this meet.

For those who don't do FB I will try my best to update the forum here as best as I can.

Heres what I can say officially right now.

The new dates are October 22-24th 2022. The location will remain in Lafayette Indiana, however due to the usual lot being rented out to a motorcycle class, it is uncertain at this time if we will be able to utilize the usual lot. HOWEVER I have already secured a backup location nearby incase the usual lot behind the Homewood Suites falls through.

The SIA tour is secured for the Monday of Oct 24th at 11am.

This is all that I can say with absolute certainty at the moment, but if you have questions, feel free to ask and Ill try to address them or get them settled as soon as I can. I will continue to post updates in this thread.

Awesome job redoing the dates! I don’t have my SVX anymore, but I do have a car with a flat six engine. (Porsche) I also volunteer to drive or co-drive for others.

For those of us without Facebook, has anything changed? I am just looking to get the latest and most accurate information.

Nothing of note has changed. The dates are still set for Oct 22-24, the location will be the usual spot between the Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites. (4030 Commerce Dr, Lafayette, IN 47905) hotel booking is up to the attendees, as there is no group block or rate. Roll-in begins at 9am on Saturday the 22nd.

Saturday October 22nd

9:00AM Roll-in begins at the parking lot between the two hotels.

1:00PM Car wash (In true Reading tradition)

1:30PM Swap Meet and Give-aways!

2:00PM A couple possible options for a group activity (Up to the group at that time)

5:00PM Dinner and SVX Trivia at Rookies Sports Pub (Time might vary based on prior activity)

8:00PM Open evening schedule




Sunday October 23rd

9:00AM Our own little cars and coffee in the parking lot between the hotels for our early risers

1:00PM Regroup Time (as some will have gone off for lunch)

2:00PM Last Minute Gas/Bathroom Run

2:30PM Poker Run

5:00PM Arrive at Arni’s Pizza for dinner and awards

8:00PM Open evening schedule




Monday October 24th

8:00-9:00AM Meet up to head to SIA (Allowing for another possible car wash run)

10:00 AM Arrival @ Subaru of Indiana Automotive
5500 IN-38, Lafayette, IN 47905

10:30AM - Group will assemble in the lobby

11:00AM - Tour

12:30PM - Lunch

1:30PM - Presentation by SIA Executive

4:00PM - Group departs SIA

It's a nice itinerary.
You are obviously running this meet. I am trying to set up the 20th Anniv. Baja Meet in 2023. Who are now the SIA plant contacts? Please respond.

I'm to say I will not be going to this meet because of my health right now. I hope everyone has a great time. I also hope I'm around for the 50th anniv. SVX Meet and that my wheels will be 'Subydoo' and not a chair.

The 30th went well from my viewpoint. Had about 20 SVX show but some left early, some came late so perhaps we had 15 or 16 all together at once. I can never get pictures to post here as my file size is too large but perhaps someone else that attended can supply some.

Thanks. I only recognised one person from the 25th meet, but there aren't a lot of people pictures.
