Auto Trans Ratios
 

I am curious as to if anyone knows of a chart like this one, that lists final gear ratios of different models, but for automatic transmissions instead of manual trannys.http://www.northursalia.com/techdocs...rannychart.pdf

Long story short, I have a chance to buy a 4.44 manual trans out of a JDM legacy turbo tomorrow, but there is no rear differential to go with it.
I would like to know what USDM models came with a 4.44 gear ratio. I think 2.5RS automatics did, but would like to know what else does.

The "Search" feature is your friend;):D Plenty of threads on this topic. SVXFiles and TOMSSVX have both done multiple 4.44 swaps.

I seached and found many people that have done 4.44 swaps, but haven't found a list of which US models have 4.44 FDR that I could go to a junkyard and get a rear end out of.

If you could link me up to a thread like that, it would be great.

I had this saved from an earlier thread.

96-97-& Early 98 Legacy Outback/Legacy GT/Legacy LSI/Forester/Impreza 2.5 RS with 4EAT automatic transmission, and 2.5 engine.
The 4.44s are from any 2.5 4EAT equipped Legacy GT, Legacy Outback, Legacy LSI, Legacy GT LTD., Legacy Outback LTD., Impreza 2.5 RS, and Forester.

Glad to be of help for a change. But, buyer be aware, we're talking used transmissions (parts). You could be buying troubles over a stock upgrade, rebuild. I've been there, done that.
