It is moments like this that I wish I was out of school and in a career. I would have bought it 5 minutes ago.

anyone who writes an ad that says "Wow, what a deal for..." i automatically write off. It's rediculious that they think other folks will actually think it's going to make it sell for. It's a rule of thumb for me.

8K is a deal for any good condition SVX in Canada. Someone's getting a steal.

Speedklix 12-16-2007 10:18 AM

yeah they ussually think all they need to say is "JDM" and it is a done deal :p

The past couple weeks I have been enjoying... like a working vacation. but, I may be accepting an offer this week. We'll see. This would be a good time for me to do something like this.

It doesn't even give a color for it. :o

Has anyone figured out a way to legally import a JDM SVX into the USA? Last I heard it wasn't possible.

SVXRide 12-16-2007 02:19 PM

Earl seems to know how;):D

Seems fairly easy if you have the cash. A friend of mine will be importing a Skyline next spring/summer, I'll let you know how difficult it is then. ;)

Cynic 12-16-2007 04:19 PM

Ya, I've requested more pics and info...I'll post it here when I get them.

There is a pearly with 123K for $10,777 that can be imported to Canada as well, and then you just do "an Earl" :) and take it to the States.

AFAIK there's an age restriction to import a car from Japan. It has to be so old. I don't, off the top of my head, remember how old it has to be.
Canada is a whole other story, I belive you pay to have it shipped, and inspected, then, if it passes, they transfer ownership to you. Not being from Canada I can't be sure though.

b3lha 12-16-2007 04:48 PM

I know Earl bought the car. But is it actually in the states now or is it still in Canada?
