I'm getting a batch of the mandrel bent tubing for the following dual exhaust system made.

and now the info....

With this set up you can choose to use either the magnaflow hushpower II resonators or the magnaflow/carsound 940xx series catalytic converters. If you are supercharged and need cats you alternatively can choose to use the 935xx series catalytic converters.

For the center muffler you will need to use the magnaflow 11385 crossflow muffler.

At the rear a pair of magnaflow 11375 2.25 mufflers are used.

Everything is stainless steel.

Post the aprox cost when you do. It would be interesting to know and be able to compare it with a local guy here. Thanks :)

trade for your 95 bordeaux? ;) Seriously, if at somepoint you start thinking about selling that one or see another one like it for sale I'd like to know.
Not sure how I will swing it but I want to pick up a bordeaux sometime.

Right you are John. I do like the Polo Green with the beige interior. It is my favorite green. :) :)

I'd buy one if you toss in everything needed to pull it out of the box and bolt it onto the car.

I could collect all the parts and put together a box with all the goodies for you to take and get welded into the car.

I have friends who can weld (very well), but I'd still rather have it all put together ready to go when it hits my doorstep.. and be less than $500. Is that a possibility?

longassname 02-25-2007 11:08 AM

Not a chance. There are 5 pieces to the system before you even get to the tubing. Either 3 mufflers and 2 cats or 3 mufflers and 2 resonators. Then stainless tubing isn't cheap and neither is mandrel bending. I'm just hoping to keep it under $1,000.

Is this designed with the S/C in mind?

Ricochet 02-25-2007 11:27 AM

The lower the price, the more people you'll have buying them. Big profit a few times won't be as good as little profit many times :)
