Reprogramming Security?!?!?
 

Has anyone else had so much trouble trying to reprogram their remote for the security system? I still have the original remote and i tried the 5 clicks, but nothing happened; so i tried reprogramming it all together, but i cant get it into program mode. I have been trying for like 20 minutes. Is there something missing from the How-To-Documents?

P.S. I drive a 94 LSi

The unit may be bad. Some have had to get a new box that controls it. Good luck. Have you replaced the batteries in the remote?

I disconnected the battery and since then my security only clicks.

Does anyone know what the white plastic threading does on the front of the security box that is located in the trunk?
