Nano atx form mother boards i smell indash computer.

after building a home computer im ready to tackel the car. i just saw the mac mini and i was thinking that it would look great in my center console if it wasnt a mac. in 3 months pc nano atx mother boards will be released at 6 inches i think it will fit but im still not sure how to get it all to work and any help on the matter would be hot. finaly i can have my mp3s a finger tuch away.

also they run cold at 1 gigahertz so over heating will not be a problem. over heating was a major bug with my curent pc and resulted in me buying six 89 cfm fans and a thermaltake tower heatsynk with two of the monster fans on it. running at 7500 rpm its loud but i tell my self "the shrieking is how i know its working". but i digress. any sources on user interface or operating systems will be a great help.

Most of us are waiting for the nano boards to come out. I am happy with my M10K.

go visit mp3car.com

I am known as seraph there too.

Interface wise, I use my own. As in i wrote my own. SO I can't be disappointed in others. I am only to be blamed. 800x480 screen AIS software.

why wait???

Matthewmongan 01-27-2005 06:42 PM

the board hasn't been released out side of mullet country so the rest of the world is going to have to wait till the release date. that and i dont want to hack away at a mac mini. even tough it would be fun to Pi$$ of the mac users.

Matthewmongan 01-27-2005 06:45 PM

why is the case the most ecpensive part???? 375 for a box is really high.

Matthewmongan 01-27-2005 06:47 PM

and when i said 6 inches by 6 i meant centimeters.
