Rotten Doors (before and after)
When I bought the car I thought the paint was just bubbled....wrong.
Seems that the metal strip that holds the skirt to the door is a time bomb, be afraid, be very very afraid; it will eat into your doors. http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...g?t=1258428740 http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...g?t=1258429130 http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...g?t=1258429202 http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g2...g?t=1258429297 Bondo, 3 shades of Rustolium Metalic, plastic wrap, tape, Rust Check, primer, clear coat, double sided body tape, Mono caulking, Rocker cover spray, sand paper, spreaders, Penatrol = $200 or so and a few weekends in the garage. |

Re: Rotten Doors (before and after)
The metal strip rusted out the doors because of all the foam they stick on the backside of the cladding.
