Hydraulic Lash Adjusters...
Well, I made a boo-boo the other day and flipped one of the heads over and the buckets all fell out:o
On my local scooby forum people are talking about shimmed buckets and having to make sure they get back into the exact same spot they came from, and checking clearances. I was looking and I couldn't find any clearance specs, it just says "Note: Equipped with hydraulic valve lash adjusters" So does this mean that I am out of the woods on my mistake? Can they just go back in anywhere? |
Re: Hydraulic Lash Adjusters...
yes they can go back on any valve.
as hydraulic adj. make up the clearance diff. vs. shimmed for clearance. |
