Solenoid C Question
 

Hey guys,

Quick thoughts about the Solenoid C thing. 2.5 years ago, I refurbished my gearbox and all the parts came from the Pathfinder's. I never touched the valvebody part of it, just the discs and the brake band.

Each time I go on vacation back home and drive the car, I can feel binding when the car is still "cold". I am thinking about replacing it for the time being until I convert to the 6speed later. Now the Q is:

Since all the parts come from the Pathfinder's, could also the Solenoid C of that car fit the SVX? Anyone compared them before?

Hi Danny, i reckon that the clutch pack is sticking, from no use. If it comes good after driving a while, i would not worry.

There are two different c solenoid assembles for the SVX. one for the Transfer, and one for the VTD. I can't remember which type of trans you have.
