Nice! Are you planning on "showing" your SVX, thus the reason for the chrome pieces? -Bill |
You posted one picture. I don't know if that is what you intended to do. :)

A: Nice welds
B: I like the gusseting C: The mesh in the holes of the reinforcement is very tastefully done...but for he love of god ditch the dylithium chamber vent look alikes off the sides |

Naive, Mr. Spelling Bee champ:rolleyes: :p -Bill p.s. do you or Dave have an extra power steering computer lying around? I think I fried mine:mad: |

What's the ps computer look like and where is it at? I'm sure we have a few around or you can have the one from the racer if I can find it with all the things in there now.:D Any intrest in our seat btw I don't think it'll be legal for climbing. |
looks really good, but you are going to have problems with it... The X-member needs to allow for clearance of the keepers on the transmount... Yours does not and will make noise when the keepers hit the basket you made
http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...sSVX/36298.JPG This is a pic of mine... see how the sides are open which allow the keepers of the mount to move and not hit anything?? Might want to look into changing the design a little Tom |
Maybe I should take a pic of mine while I have it on the lift next week.
I used gussets just like you did, but I used scrap metal I had around, so they aren't all identical in size :D :o. Is my memory off, or is the bar backwards? Other than the fact that I used crs instead, that is very similar in design to mine. Nice work, but Tom is correct about the keepers! My mount is hollow at the sides. I guess you could just use a hole saw to fix that, buuuutt..... |
btw, good call on the drains

Tom,
So far actually, it was alright, no noises. But I think my current gear ratio is wrong. I included service part print out of manual trany gear ratios for the Subaru WRX 2002 and my trany currently install from the EJ20T, which is turbo model of WRX trany. http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...alex/43220.jpg Can I still do R180 gear swap for my rear diff? Thank you, Alex btw. you haven't seen previous mount option (if you can call that mount Mickey Mouse mount) |

I've seen worse, some would have been better off wraping it in coat hangers  |
If you have the stock cats on it, I believe they will hit....
