svx donation
 

Hey guys today i signed the final papers on an 02 WRX, though i can say its not as luxurious as most everyones svx, it is a lot smoother and comfortable that MY svx. I dont want to sell the svx to anyone, because i have a feeling some unsuspecting kid will inherit my massive repair bill prone car and I dont want to screw anyone. What i do want is to part my car out so that it isnt completely useless, but, I have nowhere to keep the car and I dont really want to hassle with dismantling and shipping, so, I would like to donate it to NWSVX. I'm not sure who would have the room to keep the car while you guys take what you need, or sell the parts off for funds, it would be completely up to you guys. I would really appreciate if something could be figured out soon as i would like to get rid of it fairly quickly. I hope you guys can put some use to this thing, it has brought me a lot more joy than dissapointment.

What all is wrong with it? It would be a shame to part out an SVX that could be saved.

My thought too, but I think Tim is just fed up with it. It has a looooong history of problems. :o

Hey Tim, are the bumpers in good shape? My rear bumper has a dent on it, and the front has this tiny ding that, although small, looks annoying and a scrape/dent on the right side... I'd like to replace them versus trying to fix em.

I don't care if the paint is faded, just that the bumpers are straight.

If I end up selling the car, it would help me keep value. Well, hopefully. :)

If the problems are history then I don't see an issue :D

If the front bumper is the same as it was, it is damaged and couldn't be used. :(

Cool. My front isn't in too bad of a shape so maybe I don't really need to replace it, but the rear has a big dent on the left side from an a-hole here at work while my car was parked (I posted pics of it in the FOr Sale thread)... I May be able to pop it back out, but I don't think it'll hold the shape nicely. Do you remember if the rear bumper was straight?

Well the thing is the problems are neverending with this svx, i just dont want anyone to get burned, so hopefully these guys can use it to benefit the group, whether it be a part someone needs or selling the parts off to raise funds.

Hmmm, if the bumper turns out to be in decent shape, maybe I'll just paint my whole car white! :D JK... I wish though... I love silver, but there's just something about white SVX's...
