My %&)@*$#*% trans is making noises that I don't like at all. It could be a flexplate, diff, whatever. I just hope that it can last me thru the winter so I can get more money to do the 5speed swap.


Please pray for me/my SVX and send this to at least 67 people or a little girl with a huge mallet will stand next to your bed and hit you with it if you try and get up without praying for me/my SVX.

what kinda noises? Any noticeable slipping or other problems?

Barely touching your finger to a plastic fan blade while it's on. The noise intensifies with the RPMs also.

I drove for like 2 months with a bad flexplate before I had it replaced... just baby A LOT if you really have to drive it and don't take it out if you really dont have to. I saw my flexplate after, and it was separated all the way around, but it only stayed together because it was wedged where the seams are.

Yeah, I'm thinking flexplate. I only drive it if I have to, and when I do, I don't go over 3k rpms. How much would it cost for a new flexplate?
