out for a drive

I just installed all my electrical systems back in the car. I somewhat love the new layout. I just have to look for a new home for the AC control module (till I hook it up with my computer).

Time for me to enjoy the SVX a bit.

It is true

I took the SVX out to O'hare for a reason. I wanted to check out my rader and where I mounted it. O'hare has a K band traffic monitor speed rader on the side of the road.

I was doing 60 (on purpose). There was a jeep about 1/8 of a mile head and a bus behind me at about the same distance. The jeep was told it's time, mine came, went and then the bus's speed was registered.

Guys and girls, get those plate mounted I-Passes. Those things block about 1/4 of the front plate and the rader did not even get me. Great uh?

If you are afraid to remove the front plate go out by the road and count how many cars actually have them. About 50% don't.

In Illinois, it's the law. You need them Otherwise, you can get tossed in jail (if the cop wants to).
