Yup, I can smell it coming, a la' Mickey Dees vs. Chloresterol.
When State Farm sends around its annual insurance questionaire, be sure to check the "Perry Como" box, & not the "Head Banger" box. Ron (secretly listening to Spike Jones). |

Don't check Perry Como.....they will think you fell asleep or went into a coma before you hit that tree!

You're just a tad more Randy than usual. Ron. |
I think we're going to have to look for the "Yanni" box to check...oooops, then again, that could lead to out-of-body experiences that contribute to accidents......
-Bill (wondering how much this guy got paid to conduct this study...yet another "gee, that's amazing" study result.....Yak!) |
Oops...
Sorry about that....

Perry Coma for me....
Y'know, I mentioned this beats per minute research earlier this year while bemoaning the THUMP THUMP THUMP that emanates from the boom boxes on wheels youngsters drive these days.
Like Larry 111, I often listen to opera, or to folk/MOR, or to country. Gotta watch the country, or I'm crying in my beer, and have to drive one-handed becoz of the cup-holder situation. Easy listening classical is pretty good, except the wide dynamic range of many of the pieces tends to mean you will miss parts, or possibly have your head blasted off on a roundabout during the rousing bits, where you are too busy driving to reach for the volume control. For the most part, I would prefer singer/songwriters as driving company, the mood, the volume output all remain reasonable and predictable and entertaining. Without bringing on hypertension or red light fever. Joe:D |
-How was that "..slow down you move too fast ...."
