Removing Manual tranny front stub axles
 

Do they just come out like autos or what? Trying to come up with a solution for converting my XT6 to a manual 2wd using a tranny that has 23 splines on the stub but my XT has 25. The cv joints are totally different as are the shaft diameters so making an axle out of both looks unlikely.

don't you just twist plate out and yank the stub out? (marking it and counting the turns obviously)
Never tried it, but I just assumed that was all there was to it.
