Secret SVX stash??
 

Attached is a photo of an SVX key chain I got from Vinscimone. He said he had requested sponsorship from Subaru for the SVX meet he organized in 2000 at West Point. They didn't send a check, but they did send him two keychains.

If things like this were circulating as little as two years ago, I wonder what other SVX goodies are stashed in some dark, corporate closet... gathering dust... all but forgotten

Are you still talking to Vin Scimone? If so, can you PM me his email address or something? Thanks.

I sent a letter to subaru a few months back asking if they had anything stashed away relating to the svx. They sent me an original copy of the Road & Track guide in perfect condition. They said that it was all they had. :(

For as nice as the keychain looks, I think there is a much better idea that can be produced. If you could make a scaled-down version of the JDM hood emblem, without the clear cover it would make an AWESOME design! Check this out:

Very nice! Or how about that one that think it was you, John, posted here about a year ago. It was a little pewter model of the SVX on a keychain, I think you or whoever posted said it was from a German accesories catlog.

That Alcyone one would be awesome though!

The Key is to find dealers that have been Subaru dealers for a long time, then talk nicely to the parts manager. There are a lot of things up in the attics.

why did the JDM Alcyone emblem not make it stateside? I think it's a pretty slick design..

I want one of each of the keychains I've seen so far!

(I am a bit disappointed in the Swiss one....I expected it to fold out into 5 knives, a corkscrew, and a toothpick! :D )

How would be interested in something like that since I had been thinking of getting keychains made for some time now - and had posted some ideas using the JDM symbol but nothing as good as that!!

Uh, funny you say that...I sent them an e-mail and they sent me a 93, 95, and 96 SVX brochures, and a manual. I inquired about the Road and Track Guide, and they said they didn't have anymore. Hmmm....
