Rear Window Removal?

Hi folks.

The tint on my rear window is coming apart and looks like crap, rather than scrub it for 45 years, I'm just going to replace it with the one in my inventory.

Could someone explain to me the steps of removal?

Thanks,
Patrick

Removing the defroster elements in the process.

I'm sorry, I wasn't clear.

I don't want to remove the tint, I want to replace the glass, I already have a pristene rear window

Not if done carfully just peel it off

ohhh, i see well then if it the rear glass just disconnect the defroster thing and use a air chisel (they make fittings for glass removal) and slowley cut around the glass then run piano wire along the window and pop it's off

I have a tool that's used specifically for removing glass, let me know if you'd like to use it, it sucks on windsheilds but works great on solid glass :-) I even know how to glue those in!
