how does the manual option work on an svx?
 

i rly wanna get an svx, i have been told about, and seen pics of, a manual option on the transmission, how does it work? is there still a clutch? does it operate like a sportronic?

all SVX's were automatics - some on here have swapped in various manual transmissions, though.

the 'MANUAL' button on the shifter in US SVX's just keeps it from downshifting, so as not to spin out on slippery roads. do a search for some more info.
