Are all the 4eat phase 1 trans valve bodies the same like 4.44 will work on 3.54 ?

They definitely have a few differences although I don't know exactly how that effects swapping from one phase 1 trans to another. I know that different years / makes / models got revisions to the casting to allow for different sized valves, elimination of at least one valve sleeve, and different spring rates.


Are you wanting to swap a different valve body onto your transmission because there is something wrong with the one on there?

No I was going to take one out of a legacy and have it built performance wise and then put it in a 4.44 trans just to save time. but found a svx trans to get it out of.
