I didn't think I would like them but I do. You need fatter rubber though. Those tires don't fill out the wheels. I have 18x8's too...the right tire for them is 255-35-18.

I think they look great on the black.... On a different color I am not too sure though.

he wouldn't want some looser car with a grey interior anyway ;)
(that's a joke, before I get jumped by 8439 92-93 owners) Quote:

they'd probably good on his silver too

They are ok, but they don't do much for me. Sorry. :o

those look a lot better than I expected!

I like them ;)

They look a little jarring to me. Maybe a darker colour would fit better? Or chrome? Nice to see some genuine Subie wheels that work at least.
And ya, 225 tires kind of gets lost in the wheel well on those wheels. |
Looks great, I love it! I am so jealous.

Glad you got your wheels! Personally, I think 18" wheels are too much wheel for the SVX. But if you like them, that's what counts. They are a good looking set of wheels.

I assume tribeca wheels are all 18's but I was thinking it wouild be a good match to put 17's up front and 18's in the back. 255-40-17's match 255-35-18's perfectly and I think most of the wheels that are available in a good offset for our cars are available in both 17's and 18's--I know mine are.
I just got new rubber on my 18's so I won't be doing it immediately but there is a good chance I will be giving that a go next go around. |
