Foreign Buyers
 

I have our '92 svx for sale. In the last week I have been propositioned to sell to buyers who want to export the car and send me a check. Has anyone else been been approached by these "buyers" ? My bank said; " do not give them your account number and wire funds instructions. or they will assume your identity and clean out your account. Another word of caution...due to improved technology counterfeiters can make realistic cashiers checks, so always call the bank before you accept one.:confused:

We saw a deal posted earlier. Someone from Nigeria or Kenya right? Run away fast!!!!

it could be OK, just make sure your buyer understands that the money goes into an escrow account until the check clears and funds are certified by your bank.
