Stay tuned, we will have the long anticipated date for the final Awards Banquet very soon. Hopefully by the end of the weekend.

It is looking like Saturday, March 29th for the banquet, along with a couple other activities during the morning/afternoon.

If there is interest some event Friday and Sunday will be added as well.

Location will be around Burlington, WA, including some activities at Earl's house (a chance to see the largest private SVX collection anywhere!).

I just have to confirm the date with the restaurant and then it will be final. If anyone has objections to 3/29/08, speak now and quickly! :)

Too bad you won't be doing it the weekend of march 8. I'll be up there with two SVXii

:mad: Well, I was a definate...then last week I was told my position at work is being cut March 1st...along with another 25% of our contract's hours. As a "temporary" solution, I am taking an hourly position ("small" paycut), but have to work weekends...GRRR! Of course, then that position looks to be cut by April :mad::o


I've been looking hard for other jobs, but unless I manage to land something with weekends off, looks like I won't make it. :(

On the plus side, my SVX is going strong :D :cool: :rolleyes:

Too bad we are missing you by just a few weeks Patrick! If I didn't need to give everyone so much notice I'd change the date to coordinate with yours. But only a few of us would probably be able to show. :D

Sorry to hear Erik, hope things turn out for the good in the end. Maybe even soon enough to make it the end of March. Good luck with the search, I've been there and probably will be again at some point. :rolleyes:

Hopefully I'll be not working saturdays anymore by then and can make it up :-) I already made one trip to Washington this month, drove to Bellingham last Sunday, didn't have any time to stop and see anyone though, drove up to get Peugeot parts, and the bloody French decided that bolts weren't enough and had to GLUE the damn fender on so it took us like, an hour and a half just to get the stupid fender off lol.. Man, Albany to Bellingham is a long ass drive!

Would anyone mind putting it out a week until April 4th - 6th?
