Ebrake light stays on
 

Well, it did, for like 4 miles. Then ti went off. Any ideas? I don't want to have problems this winter.

It's telling you it wants brake fluid. When it gets cold out for the first time of the year, my light always comes on just as you said... till the car warms up. Simply add a few drops of fluid, and you'll be all set. :)

Did you try releasing the hand brake?:D Mike's probably right, check the fluid. My Brat does it too when it gets cold on both start up and on hard right turns. If that doesn't fix it I'm guessing there would also be a sensor in the console. You could try cleaning that.

Mine did it too, I just went under the hood and tapped on the floater in the resevoir. I dont remember which way it moved, but after I tapped on it, it was in a different position, and the light went off.
