Ecu Speed Pin
 
Installing my speed meter. I found a Ecu pin diagram. The speed meter needs a "speed signal wire" will Vehicle speed sensor 2 (B60, 11) work. Looks like the correct 5v signal, just checking.

Yes. That's the one.

It's a 5 volt square wave, the frequency of which is proportional to your speed. Four cycles per revolution of the sensor IIRC.

Sounds accurate.

The speed sender on the gear box works by pulling the voltage supplied low not by supply a wave form from 0 to 5V as was thought before. If you mesure the voltage on the ECU it has power. DOn't know if that helps.
