SVX Maf Sensor Diameter
 

Can someone please tell me the the diameter of the SVX's Maf sensor? Also, is it a hot-wire type Maf sensor? Thanks!

Oh no! Now it'll never get answered. :( I understand though.

Why is that? Most members use the "Review New Posts" button on the right side of the screen to see what posts are new sence the last time they were there. That will bring up any posts in any of the forums. That way none get by you and you can read them all. No need to keep looking around and wonder if you missed any. :)

Thanks Huck! I already measured the XT6s maf sensor diameter. It's 2.75" outside lip diameter and the inside is 2.5". I'm hoping the SVX's maf sensor is wider...even 2.75".

The inside diameter of the stock maf is 71.9mm, or 2.828"
The outside diameter is 79mm, or 3.136"

Thank you! You don't know how happy I am to know this. *whew* Around 3" is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

I'm kinda curious, what are you up to?

From my experience with my friend's DSM, it almost sounds like you're thinking of doing something like the MAFT (MAF Translator) they have availiable to them. That's probably just because they use a 3" GM MAF, though...

Just in case you're sizing for an intake, I just got my batch of MAF adapters and Green cone filters in... SoG Stage 1 short ram intake will be available starting tomorrow morning.

Anyone? I just swapped out the connectors of the XT6 and the SVX by unscrewing them both and changing them. Real ghetto-ish and I don't think it'll work this way. So I'm getting another SVX Maf but this time with the plug and the wires with it. I'll just hook up the wires.

I'm ---><--- close to making this work. I just need to know what the wires mean on the SVX's plug. Thanks
