Drag Raced at track
 

Went the the strip tonight. Totally awesome, my first time to a drag strip.

Anyway....Fast time = 15.990 with .574 R/T this was with the tranny resistor PLUGGED IN, and gear shifter in '1'. Beat the crap out some riced out Honda....that made my day.



Highlight of the night = jet car running 6.48 sec right in front of me in line.
2nd highlight = 900hp Camaro, he only made one run and couldnt keep it straight :(

Scott, make sure you add the timeslips to your svx registry entry on the dot org sight. (do you even have a registry entry?) There is a 'add timeslips' option.

No, i didnt register yet. I'm lazy as hell, ill go do it some time or another. For now, going to take my brother's friend home and going to sleep, golf tourny tomorrw.

This is for anyone else also with any Subarus. I'd love to have as many SVX 1/4 mile times as possible so we can compare and learn what works and what doesn't.

BTW: What happened to your scanned timeslips and engine bay pictures.

My scanner is being pissy right now, and i ran out of paint for the last peice. I put a first coat on that peice last night, i'll do another one after school today, and have it in by tomorrow. Ill take pictures then.

i planned on draggin my svx a few weekends ago, but it rained. i am going to try to go again sometime really soon. i would like to know what speed you got up to. i was thinkin about 90 or so. i will be sure to post after i race.

for all of you Jersey svx drivers (and some of you PA's) the drag strip is right in Hackettstown NJ. so if anyone wants to meet up and drag away.... pm me. it would be pretty interestin!

You have no faith in your tranny, mine is original (as far as I know) and has 122k on it, I take it to the street races every weekend.... I mean shhh.. no one is supposed to know that. And my tranny still loves me *knock on wood*, but hey if you have the car for it, why not street race it? you should see the people in their parents V-8 Firebirds when I take them off the line and slaughter them in the turns :D
well anyway, just thought I'd put in my part here. kinda like these forums where people actually post :)
